CarDekho launches TrucksDekho, portal for commercial vehicles in India

Auto portal, has announced the launch of is a dedicated portal to addresses market of commercial vehicles. It’s showcasing all the latest truck information and allows to choose best options around buying and owning a truck and other commercial vehicles.


This portal is designed to address truck searcher’s needs and cater to every requirement they have around trucking. covers thirteen leading trucks and commercial vehicle brands with features, comparison and reviews of more than 800 vehicles, details of more than 2000 vehicle dealers in India and more than 60 trucks body makers.

Some of’s features are EMI calculator, dealers and service centers, Finance and Dealer Offers , body makers and Truck comparisons.

As per the company, commercial vehicle market by 2016-17 is expected to be at 1.6 miilion units.

Leading brands in this market are Tata Motors having 47% market share, Mahindra and Mahindra with 25% Market Share followed by Ashok Leyland with 15% share.

In February this year, Ratan Tata has invested in In January 2015, they have also raised USD 50 million fund led by Hillhouse Capital with participation from Tybourne Capital and Sequoia Capital.
