Smartphone manufacturer, Samsung has officially launched its slimmest Smartphone, the Galaxy A8 in China.
Galaxy A8 sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
It comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.
Galaxy A8 has a fingerprint sensor, 16 megapixel rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity and a 3,050mAh battery. As claimed by the company, battery gives a standby time (4G TDD LTE + 2G GSM) of up to 304 hour.
Fingerprint sensor allows you to achieve quick touch sensing. Screen unlock, account verification, fingerprint payment, fingerprint unique, secure open to you.
Right now it’s available in Black, White, and Gold color variants in china.
It’s a dual SIM phone but one SIM can be used for memory expansion with a micro SD card. This means, if you use micro SD card then one SIM slot will be blocked.
It’s not yet confirmed whether or not Samsung is going to release Galaxy A8 handset in other markets across the globe including India.
