How to withdraw cash from ICICI bank ATMs without a card – Cardless Cash withdrawal

ICICI bank has introduced cash withdrawal facility without an ATM card. With this facility ICICI bank customers can now transfer money to anyone in India by using their internet banking account.

The recipient can withdraw money by using an ATM machine of ICICI bank across India. The recipient is not required to have an account with ICICI bank.

Earlier, a person without bank account can only receive cash through money orders. Now, thanks to ICICI bank which offers cardless cash withdrawal facility across India.

Cardless withdrawal from ICICI bank

To initiate cardless withdrawal, sender has to first login to his ICICI net banking account and register the recipient with details like name, mobile number, address, city and PIN code and transfer amount. Transfer amount should be in multiple of Rs. 100.

On submission of the request, two numeric code will be generated and sent through SMS. One code will be sent to sender and the other one to the recipient. Please remember these codes will only be sent to sender’s and receiver’s registered mobile number.

After receiving the code, sender has to communicate the code to recipient. Now, recipient with following details can go to ICICI bank ATM to withdraw cash without any ATM or debit card.

  • Recipient’s registered mobile number
  • Code received by sender
  • Code received by recipient
  • Amount transferred

As per ICICI bank’s terms and conditions related to cardless cash withdrawal, the recipient is required to approach any of the specified ICICI bank ATM to withdraw the monies transferred within 12 hours of the transfer being made by the sender or such other time as may be prescribed. In failure to do so, transaction will be deemed to be cancelled and monies will be credited back to sender’s account.

Part withdrawal is also not possible in this case. Entire money sent by sender has to be withdrawn at once.

If sender wants to cancel the request then they can do so before withdrawal of money by recipients.
