Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, unveiled Mi TV 2S smart television and Mi water purifier in China.
Now the company is planning to bring this product to India. As per the company, Mi water purifier makes tap water drinkable with Reverse Osmosis (RO), is super compact, shows real-time water quality, and reminds you on your smartphone when it’s time to replace the filter (plus you can order a new filter with one click too!).
It’s highly portable and really convenient for those who live in rented apartments. This product has been developed with Yunmi Technology, a part of the Mi Ecological System.
Mi Water Purifier will be made available in China from 28th July at 1,299 Yuan which translates approximately to Rs 13,300. It’s super compact but dispenses 400 gallons in 1 day.
There are four filters — a cotton filter, two activated coconut carbon filter, and a RO membrane. While the first filter cleans sediment, rust, and other such purities from the water, the carbon filters reduces discoloration and odor, and also improves the taste, while the RO membrane filters heavy metals, bacteria and other organic matter from water.
Xiaomi has also announced Xiaomi’s newest 48″ Mi TV 2S — ultra-thin 9.9mm aluminum frame, 4K lossless playback and 43,000 AnTuTu score with MStar’s latest 6A928 chipset.
This TV is actually thinner and faster than most smartphones! At present its priced RMB 2999 alone / RMB 3999 Theatre Edition in Chinna.
